A brand film showing the people, process, and craftsmanship behind a Lancaster County outdoor living company. We filmed the team at their Ephrata headquarters, then moved to a client's finished home at golden hour.
About the Client
Stump's Decks and Porches was founded in 1994 by two friends who wanted to build beautiful, quality decks. More than 30 years later, the Ephrata, PA company designs and builds custom decks, porches, and outdoor living spaces across southeastern Pennsylvania. Their work has earned national recognition, including a second place overall finish at NADRA's National Deck Competition.
The Challenge
Stump's builds far more than decks, and a custom outdoor living space is a major investment. The film had to move the conversation beyond price and materials, introduce the team homeowners would actually work with, and show why the finished space is worth it.
Our Approach
We built the film around the way a homeowner experiences Stump's, from the first design conversation through permitting, the build, and the finished space. Over two production days, we filmed the team at their headquarters and warehouse, then captured a client's home at golden hour, with the space doing what it was built for: bringing family and friends together outside.
